GET INVOLVED

All groups with 10 students can have up to two leaders. Leaders are required to help train and manage the group and must familiarize themselves with the program guidelines and policies.

LEADER responsibilities include:

RECRUITMENT & TRANING

Our chosen Teens Run SLC marathon leaders must demonstrate an effective recruitment and training of students.

UPHOLDING POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Marathon leaders will be tasked with upholding our program policies including proper safety, discipline, and behavior.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Securing a physical clearance, waiver, and acknowledgement of program expectations.

ROSTER MANAGEMENT

Our roster of students is required to be managed and updated throughout the entirety of the program.

DELIVERY & PICKUP

Leaders are needed at times for material pick up and allocation.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

Maintaining a clear and easy communication with school administration, parents, students and all Teens Run SLC personnel.

Group leaders also gain free entry into the Salt Lake City Half Marathon for 2025, as well as all the swag offered to student participants.
